I’ve spent most of my life seeking the answers to questions most of us seek regarding wholeness, happiness, fulfillment, destiny, and the engagement in life fully.
So that’s who I am - someone seeking to engage in life fully, through ups and downs, heartache and joy. As a practicing meditator, vegetarian, lover of nature, peace, and pursuer of social justice and change, I believe it it up to us to create the change we want to see in the world.
As a survivor of Hurricane Katrina, and a world citizen living in the midst of incredible change and the passage of information around the world at the blink of an eye, it both one of the best times to be alive, and yet it is one of the most challenging times.
We are struggling with finding solutions to our ecological problems, our energy “crisis”, our inability to live together with respect and equality for each other. We have still not found the time to solve the problems that plague us such as homelessness and children living in poverty here in the U.S. and around the world.
In the Bible, we are reminded that what we do to the least of us, we also do to Jesus. Every religious tradition speaks of our moral obligation and responsibility to each other. When will we get it?
